I am Jaakko Saari, a Finnish CG designer based in Japan. I am currently working freelance for Territory Studio.

My previous experience includes Technical Artist position at Adobe, work in BCN Visuals as environment artist, collaboration 3rd Films and with Fireframe Oy.

My main focus in is real-time environment art. I have years of experience in creating environments and assets for Unreal Engine and Unity projects, being also environment art lead for commercial projects. I have also created several product renders using V-Ray and Redshift, realistic clothing and fabric and procedural material work.

I use 3ds Max, Maya, ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Designer, Substance Painter and Substance Sampler and several other software.
